Landscape

Buh-Rein Estate features a wealth of plant life for residents to enjoy. Over 2000 indigenous trees, including Cape Ash, Yellowwood and Waterberry, can be found throughout the estate, providing lush, shady areas along the streets. A central green corridor with walkways and 10 retention ponds can also be found for residents to experience natural tranquillity. Over 20 pocket parks are scattered around the estate and include children’s play equipment, encouraging little ones to explore the outdoors. All plants that are found within Buh-Rein Estate are water-wise and irrigation is done by means of treated effluent water to further enable a green estate. Residents are encouraged to lead an active lifestyle through the use of the estate’s 4km pathway that extends through the estate. This facilitates easy walking, jogging and cycling for every family member’s fitness level.
